On this Saturday morning we are seeing spells of rain moving across the Western Isles. Mostly light with some heavier bursts. Brisk winds. Plenty of cloud with some sunny spells.

Across the highlands and islands on Friday Stornoway was the wettest with 15.4 mm of rain and Harris Quidnish had the lowest maximum temperature of 11.4C
Today – plenty of cloud. Showers on and off throughout the day. Merging into longer spells of rain for a time. In between some decent and prolonged sunshine. Brisk winds becoming light by this evening. The best of any drier brighter weather across the Uists and Barra.
Sunday – sunshine and showers with lighter winds.
Monday – a showery day with a risk of the showers being heavy and thundery.
Tuesday – another breezy and showery day.
