Sunday’s forecast – Stuck in a rut

Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing a fairly dry evening. some light rain and drizzle. Some sunshine and blue skies. Winds are light for most.

Overnight – We are going to see further showers moving across the Western Isles. Some of these will be heavy at times. In between plenty of clear skies. The best of the drier conditions across the Uists and Barra. Winds of 5 to 15 mph.

Morning – Further heavy spells of rain across Lewis and Harris. Showery across the Uists and Barra. Plenty of cloud but increasing sunshine as the morning goes on. Winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Afternoon – Plenty of cloud. Most of the showers are expected to clear away. Allowing for some decent and prolonged sunshine. However across Lewis and Harris the cloud is expected to be slower to break. Where the cloud breaks it will feel warm in the summer sunshine. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Evening – Should be fine and dry the odd lingering shower cannot be ruled out. We are going to see plenty of sunshine which will be prolonged with variable amounts of cloud. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.
