Mondays forecast – Another showery day.

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing a mostly dry evening. A few sharp showers around. We are seeing plenty of blue skies and sunshine at the moment. Its breezy. Further spells of sunshine are forecast for the rest of this evening with further sharp showers at times.

Overnight – We are going to see plenty of clear skies, further showers which at times will merge into longer spells of rain. Some of these showers will be heavy and thundery at times. Cloud will increase as the night goes on. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Morning – Further showers and some of these will be heavy and at times thundery some hail mixed in for good measure. In between some some decent sunshine. But plenty of stubborn cloud. Winds of 5 to 25 mph. Winds becoming gusty at times.

Afternoon – Increasing amounts of sunshine and variable amounts of cloud. Further showers again some of these could be thundery in nature but plenty of uncertainty as yet. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Evening – Into the evening and once more a mixture of sunshine and showers. Less chance of the showers being thundery at this stage. The showers are likely to be heavy once again. Some sunshine with the best of this being across the Uists and Barra. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Winds will be South and South Westerly direction and temps will range from 7C to 14C
