Week ahead forecast – Unsettled

Good evening Western Isles for your week ahead the weather is staying unsettled with no real signs of more settled summer like weather that I think like me most of you are craving for.

Tuesday – Another overcast day with some sunny spells. Further frequent and at times heavy showers. Brisk winds of 20 to 30 mph. Easing a little as we go into the evening. Winds will be from a South Westerly direction and temps will range from 8C to 15C

Wednesday  – A mixture of sunshine and showers once again. some of these showers once again will be heavy. In between some decent drier conditions. Becoming drier as we go into the evening. Winds of 10 to 20 mph from the South West and temps will range from 7C to 13C

Thursday – yeah guess what you got it right we are going to see more showers on Thursday. These are expected to be mostly light. In between some decent and prolonged sunshine. Winds of 5 to 20 mph from the West and South Westerly direction. Temps will range from 7C to 14C

Friday – Another showery day to start the day on Friday. A long way off as yet but we are forecast to see a dry end to the day with plenty of sunshine. Feeling cooler as the wind direction shifts. Winds will be North Westerly direction around 10 to 30 mph. Temps will range from 7C to 12C

Long range – Some signs of high pressure building in for the end of next week.
