Tuesdays forecast – Showers at times

Good Evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing an overcast end to the day with further spells of rain. Some of these are heavy in places. Winds are brisk.

Overnight – We are going to see further rain moving across the Western Isles. This rain will be heavy in places. Some drier interludes and a few clear spells. Rain gradually becoming lighter from the south as the night goes on. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph across the Uists and Barra.

Morning – Will be overcast with showers and a some sunshine at times. The showers for a time will merge into some longer spells of rain. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph again across the Uists and Barra.

Afternoon – Becoming drier and brighter across the Uists and Barra. A few lingering showers here. Across Lewis and Harris we are going to see further showers and some of these will be heavy at times. In between some sunshine. Winds of 20 to 30 mph.

Evening – The cloud increases once again. Some evening sunshine and for most it will be dry. Some light rain is possible. Winds of 10 to 30 mph

Winds will be Westerly and South Westerly direction and temps will range from 7C to 14C
