On this Tuesday morning we are seeing a showery start to the day. Some of these showers are heavy in places. Plenty of cloud with some sunshine. It’s been a windy morning with gusts reaching 40 mph.

Across the highlands and islands on Monday Harris Quidnish was the wettest with 14.8 mm of rain.
Today – another showery day. Heavy showers at times. Some decent sunny spells in between. Best of the drier conditions across the Uists and Barra. Some of the showers merging into longer spell of rain. Blustery winds gusting 20/40 mph.
Wednesday – another showery day with brisk winds.
Thursday – a mixture of sunshine and showers. Heavy at times.
Friday – a breezy and showery day with some sunshine.
Long range – some hints of a change as high pressure builds.
