Good evening Western Isles a change is finally coming. High pressure builds across the UK this weekend. We are going to see more settled weather and warmer temps across the next 5 to 7 days. We wont totally escape the rain but big improvements on what we have seen of late.
on this Thursday evening we are seeing further showers moving across the Western Isles. Some of these heavy in places. Elsewhere its mostly dry with plenty of cloud and some sunny spells. Winds are brisk.
Overnight – We are going to see further showers that at times will merge into longer spells of rain. in between plenty of clear skies with some early morning sunshine. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Morning and afternoon – A few lingering showers around. These will become more scattered as the day goes on. We are going to see some decent and prolonged sunshine. The very best of this will be in the afternoon across the Uists and Barra. Some stubborn to clear cloud in places. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Evening – Is expected to be fine and dry. The odd shower cannot be ruled out. We are going to see plenty of prolonged sunshine. Feeling warm in the evening sunshine. Still plenty of cloud the most stubborn across Lewis. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.
Winds will be Westerly and South Westerly direction and temps will range from 7C to 15C
