On this Tuesday morning most places are seeing a dry start to the day. Some light rain and drizzle. Plenty of cloud around with some sunny intervals. Winds of 10/20 mph gusting 30/40 mph across Uists and Barra.

Across the highlands and islands on Monday Stornoway was the sunniest with 1.6 hours of sunshine and Harris Quidnish had the highest maximum temperature of 16.9C
Today – some light rain and drizzle to start today and plenty of cloud. This should clear introducing more sunshine as the day goes on with prolonged sunshine later. Variable amounts of cloud. After the morning rain clears it should be fine and dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds of 10/30 mph.
Wednesday- a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Feeling warm with lighter winds.
Thursday – another mostly settled day with variable amounts of cloud and some sunshine.
Friday – turning warmer possibly temps getting into the low 20s. Fine and sunny.
Saturday – the unsettled weather returns.
