Week ahead forecast – a mixed week.

Good evening Western isles so the upcoming week is going to see a high pressure dominated week. Which means not very changeable weather, stuck under cloud quite a lot and brisk winds.

Tuesday – Will see an overcast day. Some sunshine. prolonged at times across the Uists and Barra. Some light rain and drizzle. Winds of 20 to 30 mph from the West and North West. Temps will range from 8C to 15C
Wednesday – Another cloud dominate day with some sunny spells. Periods of rain which will be heavy at times. Westerly and South Westerly winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 9C to 15C
Thursday – A chance of some heavy and possible persistent rain. Cloud dominating throughout the day. Blustery winds of 20 to 40 mph from the West and South West. Temps of 9C to 15C
Friday – A cloud dominated day once again with light rain and drizzle. The best of any sunshine will be in the afternoon. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph at times from the West and South West. Temps of 9C to 15C
