Tuesday’s forecast – Mostly fine dry and settled.

Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing an overcast end to the day for most with some light rain and drizzle. Some clear spells especially across the Uists and Barra. Winds have eased a little but are still brisk.

Overnight – We are going to see plenty of cloud around with some light rain and drizzle. Some clear skies and a few early morning sunny spells. Winds of 5 to 30 mph.

Morning and Afternoon – Mostly fine and dry with plenty of sunshine. Prolonged sunshine at times. Plenty of cloud which will prove stubborn to clear. We are going to see a few light showers but they should be mostly light and well scattered. Temps will rise but it will feel cool with the wind direction. Winds of 20 to 30 mph.

Evening – An increasing amount of cloud will push across the Western Isles. But in between we will still see plenty of sunshine. Prolonged at times. Staying dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds of 20 to 30 mph.

Winds will be from the West and North West and temps will range from 9C to 15C
