Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing a mostly fine and dry end to the day. Plenty of evening sunshine and blues skies. brisk winds and stubborn to clear clouds. Some light rain and drizzle.
Overnight – We are going to see an overcast night. Some clear spells to start the night but cloud will increase into all parts. Light rain and drizzle turning into longer spells of rain as the morning goes on. Winds of 15 to 30 mph.
Morning – Rain is expected to push across the entire Western Isles. The rain will be heavy and at times persistant. The cloud dominating. Some lighter spells of rain for the Uist and Barra but heavy rain will eventually reach here as well. Winds of 20 to 30 mph gusting 35 moph.
Afternoon – All parts are expected to see heavy rain at some point. This will be persistent at times and will gradually become lighter as we go into the evening. The cloud will dominate and we will also see blustery winds. Winds of 20 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.
Evening – The rain will gradually clear away from all parts. Some lingering light rain and drizzle is possible. Drier and brighter conditions behind. We should see some sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. Winds of 5 to 25 mph.
Winds will be Westerly and South Westerly direction and temps of 9C to 15C
