Good evening Western Isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing light rain and drizzle. Mist and fog with low cloud. Some dry interludes with some clear patches.
Overnight – We are going to see a cloud dominated night. Some light rain and drizzle with mist and fog patches. Feeling cooler. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.
Morning – A showery start to the day. Some of these heavy at times and possibly merging into some longer spells of rain. Lighter rain the further south you are. The cloud will dominate. Any sunny intervals will be few and far between. Winds will also increase for a time. Winds of 15 to 30 mph.
Afternoon – Winds will increase a little further as we go into the afternoon. The heaviest of rain is expected to have cleared away by late afternoon. For most it will be light rain and drizzle. However the cloud will start to become increasingly broken and we will see more sunshine this could be prolonged at times. Winds of 20 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.
Evening – A mixture of sunshine and cloud to end the day. Some lingering light rain and drizzle. However for most it’s expected to be dry. Winds will also ease 15 to 25 mph.
Winds will be Westerly and South Westerly direction shifting to come Northwesterly direction to end the day. Temps will range from 8C to 15C
