On this Wednesday morning we are seeing heavy rain moving across large parts of the Western isles. Persistent in places. Some drier interludes for Lewis. Winds are brisk for most.

Pollen forecast for today is low.

Today – a wet start with heavy rain pushing into all parts. Persistent rain at times. Some drier spells. Rain clearing away late afternoon and into the evening to give drier and sunnier conditions. Winds gusting 30/40 mph at times.

Thursday – a day of sunshine and showers. Low risk of the showers being heavy and possibly thundery.

Friday – a few scattered and showers. But plenty of sunshine and cloud. Brisk winds.

Saturday – a mixture of sunshine and cloud with a scattering of showers.
