Good Morning Western Isles this is your morning brief
On this Thursday morning we are seeing sharp and heavy showers moving across the Western isles. In between dry spells with plenty of cloud and some sunshine. Winds are brisk.
Pollen forecast for today is low
Across the highlands and islands on Wednesday south Uist range was the wettest with 17.6 mm of rain and Stornoway was the sunniest with 1.9 hours of sunshine.
Today – we are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud with showers that will be heavy. Possibly thundery with hail mixed in. Not everyone we see a shower and plenty of dry spells in between. But the ones that do occur will be strong. It’s expected to be drier this evening but a few scattered showers. Brisk winds of 20/30 mph.
Friday – will see another day of sunshine and showers. Winds easing. The showers are expected to be well scattered.
Saturday – is expected to be mostly fine dry day.
Sunday – becomes more wet and windy again.
Monday – keeping my eye on this one with risk of gales and heavy rain.
Have a great Thursday.
