Right just a little update. The Mainland west coast of Scotland is going to see heavy and possibly significant rainfall late Sunday and all day Monday and into Tuesday. The Met office have issued a yellow weather warning to cover this. Rainfall up to 100 mm could fall on Skye and the mainland. NO weather warnings have been issued for the Western isles.
If you have travel plans this is something to keep an eye on and be aware of. There could be disruption. In the Western Isles we are also expecting to see heavy rainfall but as off 18:00 Friday not meeting warning levels. Winds gusting 40/50 mph which could also be disruptive and also worth noting if you have outdoor activities planned and our camping.
I will keep you updated as ever.
