We are seeing a beautiful day across the Western isles with plenty of sunshine and some clouds. Winds are brisk and it’s warm. With 19C in Stornoway.
The rest of the day will be fine and dry with brisk winds. The odd shower cannot be ruled out and we are seeing plenty of warm sunshine.

Sunday across the Western isles is going to see a dry start before heavy and then persistent rain. Winds will strengthen gusting 40 mph. Some morning sunshine. Feeling warm.
Across the UK we are going to see winds increasing across the UK. Rain will push into most parts but will be drier in the East.
Monday across the Western isles will further spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Blustery winds and feeling warm. It will be a cloud dominated day.
Across the UK on Monday will see further heavy with 100 mm possible on the West Coast of mainland Scotland, but drier for the South and East feeling hot.
Tuesday across the Western isles we are going to see a more fine and dry across the Western isles with plenty of cloud and feeling warm.
Tuesday become very hot across much of the UK. Heatwave conditions are possible. Cooler in the North.
Long range and next week looks warm and settled for mid week before turning more unsettled again towards the end of the week.

A number of tornado reports across the UK in the last two days. One in Manchester and one near Dundee. Unsure if the are a tornado or just a funnel cloud.
