Mondays forecast – Unsettled

Good evening Western isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing heavy rain moving across the Western Isles. The rain is persistent in places. We are seeing some drier interludes. The cloud is dominating. Winds are brisk gusting 30 to 40 mph.

Overnight – It will be a cloud dominated night with further outbreaks of rain which will be heavy at times. A few clear spells. Some drizzle at times. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – The cloud will dominate. further outbreaks of rain which again will be heavy at times. Light rain and drizzle. Occasional sunny spells but these will be few and far between. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – Further heavy rain is going to push across the Western Isles. This will be persistent at times. Winds will increase again. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Winds will be South Westerly direction and temps will range from 12C to 18C
