Week ahead forecast – mixed and warm

Good evening Western Isles. its going to turn warmer as the week goes on. Temps in the high teens a low 20s almost all week. Not a great deal of sunshine though.

Tuesday – Outbreaks of early morning rain. Becoming drier with sunshine and cloud. Cloud increasing as we go into the evening with rain as we go into Wednesday. Windy, winds gusting 30 to 40 mph possibly a little stronger at times. Some of the showers could be thundery at times. Winds will be South Westerly and South Easterly direction and temps will range from 13C to 21C

Wednesday – Overnight heavy rain as we go into Wednesday this could be thundery at times. For the rest of the day it will be overcast with some sunny spells. It will feel warm again. Some light rain and drizzle. Winds will be Southerly and South Westerly direction around 20 to 40 mph and temps will range from 14C to 20C

Thursday – Another overcast and showery day. Some of these showers could be heavy and thundery at times. The best of any drier and brighter weather will occur during the evening with some sunshine. But winds will increase again. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the South and South West. Temps of 12 to 21C

Friday – A showery day on Friday some decent and prolonged sunshine at times with brisk winds throughout the day. Some heavy showers again at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph form the South and South East. Temps of 11C to 19C
