Tuesdays forecast – mild, wet then drier.

Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing some heavy and persistent rain moving across the Western Isles with some drier interludes. Winds are gusting 20 to 35 mph. We are seeing mist and low cloud.

Overnight – We are going to see further heavy rain. The rain will be persistent at times. It will be slow moving. There will be some drier interludes. The cloud will dominate. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 45 mph.

Morning – The rain will gradually become lighter and more patchy. it will stay windy and overcast. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Afternoon and evening – Its going to be mostly dry with plenty of cloud. Light rain and drizzle. Winds will ease. There is a chance of some thundery showers cropping up during the late evening but there is plenty of uncertainty as to yet. I will try and clarify that during my morning brief tomorrow morning. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be Southerly and South Westerly direction and temps will range from 14C to 20C
