Thunderstorms risk – 23/24

Thunderstorms are going to across the Southern half of the UK this evening and then push northwards. Pushes away from Scotland Northwards tomorrow morning.

The Met office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms for much of the UK. No warning for the Western isles.

However this does mean that we won’t see thunderstorms. Just the greatest chance will be out to sea or over on the mainland. The great risk period for us seeing any of these storms is from midnight till mid morning tomorrow.

I will keep you updated when I ain’t sleeping. It could well wake us up as thunderstorms tend to be at unsociable hours up here. Other risk included hailstones and strong gusty winds.

Please share any reports with us as they are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
