On this Tuesday morning we are seeing very heavy and persistent rain across Lewis and Harris. Overcast with patchy light rain and drizzle for the Uists and Barra. Feeling very mild. Winds are gusting up to 40 mph.

Pollen forecast for today is moderate.

Across the highlands and islands on Monday Harris Quidnish had the lowest maximum temperature of 16.2C and lowest minimum temperature of 12.9C

Today – an overcast and cloud dominated day. Some sunny spells. Further spells of heavy rain. The rain should eventually clear from all parts. Winds will ease. Risk of thunderstorms tonight. Some heavy showers.

Wednesday- some thundery showers to start the day. A mixture of sunshine and cloud for the rest of the day. Feeling warm.

Thursday – a mixture of sunshine and cloud with showers later.

Friday – breezy and showery.
