Wednesday forecast – Hmmmm

Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing a mostly dry end to the day. Its feeling mild. Winds have eased from earlier. plenty of cloud with some clear skies.

This is a tricky forecast. Forecasting thunderstorms is hard.

Overnight – It will be a mixture of clear skies and cloud and will start off dry, Then we are likely to see heavy showers move through. There is a chance these will be thundery. The greatest risk will be along the East Coast of Lewis, Stornoway and Point. Not everyone will see thunderstorms they could stay out to sea. in between a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Morning – Further chance of heavy and possibly thundery showers. The greatest risk will be along the West Coasts this time. Bringing some gusty winds and even a chance of hail but should clear through pretty quickly. In between a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Winds of 5 to 30 mph.

Afternoon and evening – Should be mostly fine and dry. We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. The odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds of 5 to 25 mph.

Winds will be Southerly and South Westerly direction and temps will range from 14C to 20C
