Fridays forecast -Mostly fine, dry summers day.

Good evening Western isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing a mostly fine and dry end to the day. Some rain pushing into the Uists and Barra. A few light patchy rain and its windy winds still gusting 30 to 40 mph with earlier gusts reaching 50 mph at South Uist range and its very warm as well. Winds are lower across lewis and Harris. Temps still in the high teens low 20s.

Overnight – We are going to see a mostly fine and dry night. The odd thundery shower cannot be ruled out. We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. its going to stay warm and winds are going to increase wide spread. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Friday day – It should be fine and dry for most. The odd shower cannot be ruled out. Its going to feel warm again and we are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some of the sunshine will be hazy again like on Thursday. Some patchy light rain is possible later in the day. Winds of 20 to 40 mph some slightly stronger gusts in excess of 40 mph cannot be ruled out.

Winds will be .Southerly and South Easterly direction and temps will range from 15C to 22C
