Monday’s forecast – Showery

Good evening, Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing a largely dry end to the day. A few sharp showers over South Harris as I type. Elsewhere mainly overcast with some light rain and drizzle across Lewis. Some sunshine but the cloud is dominating.

Overnight – We are going to see a cloud dominated night. Some light rain and drizzle. Cloud dominating. Some clear spells. Feeling warm. Some heavier moving across Lewis during the early hours. The rain will persistent at times. Slowly clearing away. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Morning – The band of rain will be slow-moving from Lewis. The rest of the Western Isles will see a mixture of sunshine and cloud with light winds. Some showers hear that will be occasionally heavy but for most will be light. Winds of  0 to 20 mph.

Afternoon – Will see a mixture of sunshine and showers. Mostly expected to be light. Sunshine will be decent and prolonged at times. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.

Evening – Any lingering showers will slowly clear and we should see a fine and dry end to the day for most. A few showers cropping up cannot be ruled out. Plenty of sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. Clear skies and cloud to end the day. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.

Winds will be Southerly and South Easterly and temps will range from 12C to 19C
