Week ahead forecast – Low pressure lingers

Good evening Western isles in the week ahead we are going to see low pressure close by and very slow-moving this is going to bring unsettled weather conditions for most of the week.

Tuesday – Will see a day of sunshine and showers. The sunshine will be prolonged at times. Variable amounts of cloud and feeling light winds. Some of the showers will be heavy at times. Winds will be 5 to 15 mph from variable directions and temps will range from 11C to 18C

Wednesday – A cloud dominated day. Some sunny spells at times. Some showers. But they are expected to become more scattered as the day goes on. Winds will increase during Wednesday. Winds of 10 to 30 mph from the North East. Temps will range from 11C to 17C

Thursday – Looks set to be the best day of the week. However, it will become much cooler then we have seen of late and feeling a bit of fresher. Should be fine and dry with plenty of sunshine and variable stubborn cloud. Winds of 10 to 30 mph from the North East and temps will range from 11C to 14C

Friday – Its a long way off as yet but Friday looks windy and wet. Well windy for this time of year with gusty winds reaching 40 to 45 mph. Winds from the North East and temps will range from 12C to 17C
