Thursday’s forecast – A mostly dry day

Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing an overcast end to the day. Some light rain and drizzle. There are some sunny spells but these are mainly confined to Barra and South Uist.

Overnight – We are going to see a mostly fine and dry night. Plenty of cloud around with some clear spells. Some light rain and drizzle but most places should stay dry. Winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Thursday day – We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. The sunshine will be prolonged at times. Variable amounts of cloud. Most places staying dry with the occasional spell of light rain or drizzle. Winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Evening – Not a great deal of change for the evening. It will be mostly dry apart from some light rain and drizzle. Some sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. Winds will start to increase from the South. Winds of 10 to 20 mph gusting 30 mph.

Winds will be Northerly and North Easterly direction and temps will range from 11C to 16C
