On this Saturday evening we are seeing a windy and wet start evening. Winds of 40/50 mph. Heavy showers and they are persistent.
Today’s view from space highlights the overcast conditions and the area of low pressure close by
Sunday across the Western Isles is going to see another day of sunshine and showers. There will be heavy at times. In between some decent dry interludes. It is going to be a windy day again with winds of 20 to 35 mph. Less windy then on Saturday. It will feel cooler in the North West winds.
Sunday across the UK as low pressure sits to the North of Scotland we are going to see a day of sunshine and showers. Blustery winds. Heaviest for the North and West as high pressure tries to build in the South.
Monday across the Western Isles is going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Again further showers again will be heavy at times. It will be breezy again with winds of 20 to 30 mph.
Monday across the UK will once again see a day of sunshine and showers with blustery winds.
Tuesday across the Western Isles and it is expected to be a drier day. A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some light rain later. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.
Tuesday across the UK will see high pressure building. A spell of more settled weather with sunshine and variable amounts of cloud.
Looking ahead and it’s expected to stay fairly unsettled spells of rain and blustery winds.
