Tuesday’s forecast – A fairly settled day

Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing a number of showers around. Some of these are heavy in places. There are plenty of dry spells in between. We are seeing brisk winds with some sunny spells but there is plenty of cloud around.

Overnight – A mostly fine and dry night is expected. A few lingering showers are possible. Plenty of cloud with some clear spells and few early morning sunny spells. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Morning and afternoon – It is going to be mostly fine and dry with plenty of sunshine. Prolonged sunshine at times. A few showers are possible but most places will stay dry the greatest risk will be during the afternoon. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Evening –  Some early evening sunshine. But cloud will increase and we will see further spells of rain but they are expected to be mostly light. Winds of 5 to 30 mph.

Winds will be variable and temps will range from 8C to 16C
