On this Wednesday morning we are seeing a mostly dry start to the day. A few showers around and some sunshine. However cloud is building and as you can see from radar rain is pushing in from the west.
Across the Highlands and Islands on Tuesday Stornoway was the sunniest with 8.2 hours of sunshine.
Today – after a mostly dry start heavy and persistent rain will push into all parts. Winds will gust 30/40 mph reaching 50 mph for the Uists and Barra. Once the rain clears late afternoon increasing sunny spells with a showery evening and feeling warm.
Thursday – another windy day with further outbreaks of showery rain.
Friday – winds easing and becoming showery but feeling warmer.
Saturday – a warm and settled day with a Temporay respite from the Atlantic
