On this Saturday afternoon we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few showers around these are occasionally heavy. Brisk winds and its feeling warm.
The rest of today will be mostly overcast with light rain and drizzle at times. Winds easing under 10 mph and staying mild.
Sunday across the Western isles it is expected to be fine and dry with plenty of sunshine and variable amount of cloud. Feeling warm with temps into the high teens. It should be dry but with some early morning mist and fog patches. Breezy conditions.
Sunday across the UK will see another hot day. Cooler in the West with some mist and fog. Plenty of sunshine with high pressure dominating for most.
Monday across the Western isles will start off fine and dry with plenty of sunshine and cloud. It will be windy and then heavy rain will push in during the evening.
Monday across the UK will see rain for the West, drier and warmer for the East. Some rain pushing in later. High pressure dominates.
Tuesday across the Western isles will see a day of sunshine and showers. These will be occasionally heavy at times. Some sunny spells but mostly overcast and it will be breezy.
Tuesday across the UK will see a cooler day with outbreaks of rain which will be heavy at times. Lighter winds.
Long range and the final week of summer is expected to stay fairly unsettled with sunshine and showers and it I’ll be breezy again.
In global weather news the Atlantic hurricane season looks set to come to life this week with two area being Watched for possible tropical storm over the next couple of days. Still early days as yet.
