​Mondays forecast – Wet start then improving.

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing mostly overcast conditions with some light rain and drizzle with brisk winds.

Overnight – We are going to see an overcast night with heavy and at times persistent rain moving across the Islands. Gradually becoming lighter for the Uists and Barra as the night goes on. Winds of 10 to 30 mph

Morning – The rain will be slow to clear from Lewis and Harris again will be heavy at times. Patchy rain for the Uists and Barra. But increasing amounts of sunshine here by late evening. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Afternoon – It will for most be a fine and dry afternoon there will be some patchy rain stubbornly refusing to shift. But for most plenty of sunshine and variable amounts of cloud. Even some prolonged sunshine by late afternoon. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – It should be fine and dry for most. The odd shower cannot be ruled out and we are going to see some sunshine before sunset and a mixture of clear skies and cloud to end the day. Winds of 5 to 15 mph.

Winds will be from the North West and temps Will range from 7C to 14C
