On this Monday afternoon we are seeing the cloud and light rain and drizzle slowly clearing away. Sunshine and winds are brisk.
The rest of the evening will be fine and dry with plenty of sunshine and stubborn to shift cloud the odd shower cannot be ruled out.
Tuesday across the Western isles will start off dry but overcast. Winds will increase through the day. We will see gales by late afternoon. Gusting 50 possibly 60 mph by late evening. We are also going to see heavy and persistent rain moving into all parts. This will be slow moving.
Tuesday across the UK fine and dry with plenty of sunshine. However gales and rain for the North later.
Wednesday across the Western isles will see a day of sunshine and blustery showers. Heavy at times. Winds of 20/40 mph.
Wednesday across the UK will see blustery showers. Some sunshine and it will be breezy.
Thursday across the Western isles will see a showery start to the day. Becoming drier and brighter as the day goes on. However it will stay fairly windy with winds of 20/30 mph.
Thursday will see a showery day. Sunshine and showers these will be heavy at times.
In global weather news tropical storm Gabrielle is slowly moving across the Atlantic. It will weaken to become a post tropical storm. It will bring some rain and breezy conditions to the UK. However nothing unusual.
