On this Tuesday morning we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Most are dry but the odd light shower. Winds are mainly light.
Across the Highlands and Islands on Monday Stornoway was the sunniest with 1.2 hours of sunshine.
Today – a fine dry start with plenty of sunny spells winds are light. However cloud will increase. Winds will increase this evening gusting 40/50 mph and a chance they could reach 60 mph in some more exposed locations. Some very heavy and slow moving rain. Some drier interludes. The winds will start to ease late evening.
Wednesday – will see a mixture of sunshine and showers. Blustery winds.
Thursday – another breezy and blustery day.
Friday – turning more settled for a time.
