On this Thursday morning we are seeing a showery start to the day. The showers are heavy in places. In between some drier spells. We are still seeing brisk winds gusting to 30 mph.
Across the Highlands and Islands on Wednesday Stornoway was the sunniest with 4.7 hours of sunshine.
Today – Plenty of blue skies and sunshine. However some showers especially this morning will be heavy. Becoming more scattered for the afternoon and evening with variable amounts of cloud. Winds gusting 30/40 mph.
Friday – will see sunshine and scattered showers again on brisk winds.
Saturday – will see heavy and persistent rain and gales gusting 40/50 mph possibly 60 mph. Worth keeping an eye on the forecast if you have plans for Saturday. This is expected to clear as the day goes on.
Sunday – a drier but breezy day is expected.
