Monday’s forecast – Rain at times

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing a few scattered showers around. Plenty of cloud with a few sunny spells and mostly light winds. its still feeling warm.

Overnight – We are going to see some showers moving across the Islands. These at times will be heavy. Greatest risk across Lewis and for a time merging into some longer spells of rain. Some mist and fog patches. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Morning – Further spells of rain. Which will be heavy at times. Plenty of cloud with a few sunny spells. Some lingering mist and fog patches. Winds of 5 to 25 mph.

Afternoon – Should be largely fine and dry apart from a few scattered showers. Plenty of sunshine and this will be prolonged at times. Winds will increase 5 to 20 mph gusting 30 mph for the Uists and Barra.

Evening – Further showery rain will push in. Sunshine and showers in between the showers. A mixture of clear skies and cloud after sunset. Stronger winds for the Uists and Barra gusting 40 to 45 mph under 20 mph elsewhere.

Winds will be from the South and South East and temps will range from 11C to 16C
