Good evening Western Isles and welcome to the week ahead forecast. We were spoiled this weekend. This upcoming week is looking pretty average in comparison but could be worse and comparison to the rest of the UK we are getting off fairly lightly.
Tuesday – Fairly strong winds easing and a mostly dry day with a few scattered showers. Feeling warm still with some sunshine. A lot of clouds. Winds will be from the South East around 20 to 35 mph. Temps of 9 to 18C
Wednesday – A fine and dry day with plenty of sunshine and again feeling warm. However, cloud increase and we will see rain push in late Wednesday which will be heavy at times. Winds will be from the South and South East. Winds of 5 to 20 mph gusting 40 mph by late evening. Temps of 11C to 17C
Thursday – A classic sunshine and showers day. These will be heavy at times and accompanied by strong winds. In between some decent and prolonged sunshine. Becoming drier by late evening. Winds from the South around 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 10C to 17C
Friday – A long way off as yet but it looks set to be a very wet day with blustery showers and longer spells of rain. The rain will be heavy at times. Winds will be from the South East around 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 9C to 16C
Have a great week
