Good Morning Western isles this is your morning brief.
On this Monday morning we are seeing a wet start to the day across Lewis and much of Harris then rain is heavy in places. Drier elsewhere with plenty of cloud. Winds are light and there is some mist and fog patches.
Across the Highlands and Islands on Sunday south Uist was the wettest with 3.8 mm of rainfall.
Today – a cloudy start to the day. Increasing sunny spells as the day goes on. Brisk winds. The heaviest of the rain clears away to leave scattered showers. Still feeling warm.
Tuesday – staying mild and increasingly showery. Fairly light winds.
Wednesday- further outbreaks of rain and again light winds.
Thursday – turning increasingly windy with further outbreaks of rain.
