Wednesday’s forecast – Dry then rain later.

Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing a dry end to the day for most. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Some light rain and drizzle but for most its dry.

Overnight – We are going to see a mostly fine and dry night with variable amounts of cloud and some clear skies. The odd spell of light rain and drizzle is possible. Some mist and fog patches. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Should be largely fine and dry. A few scattered and mostly light showers. Plenty of clouds but where the sun breaks we should see some decent and at times prolonged sunshine. Feeling warm again. Wind of 10 to 20 mph.

Evening – Some uncertainty as yet on timings but we are going to see some heavy and persistent rain push into the Uists and Barra. Perhaps pushing into Harris by late evening. Staying drier with some early evening sunshine for most of Harris and Lewis. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be variable at times but will mainly come from the South East and temps of 11C to 18C
