Friday’s forecast – Scattered showers

Good evening Western Isles on this Thursday evening we have seen some very heavy rainfall as my feet, wet socks and trousers can attest to. Plenty of dry conditions around as well. It’s breezy. Some further heavy showers.

Overnight – We are going to see a few scattered showers around. These heavy at times. Brisk winds. Some clear skies but plenty of clouds. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

morning and afternoon – Its one of those tricky days. Well scattered showers. These will be heavy at times and not everyone will see showers most places will stay fine and dry. But the greatest risk will be across Lewis. This will be slightly more frequent here. In between some decent and prolonged sunshine at times but plenty of cloud. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Evening – Will see some decent and prolonged sunshine. Further scattered showers that at times will be heavy. Plenty of cloud. Winds of 0 to 10 mph.

Winds will be variable and temps of 8C to 16C
