On this Wednesday morning we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few mainly light showers around. Winds are brisk from the North East. Strongest of the winds across the Uists and Barra. Feeling cooler for July.

Across the highlands and islands on Tuesday, Stornoway was the sunniest with 1.7 hours of sunshine and had the lowest maximum temperature of 14.7C

Today – We are going to see plenty of sunshine. Cloud will be slow and stubborn to shift. The rain will be mainly light. However, the odd sharp shower cannot be ruled out. Winds will be brisk gusting 30/35 mph strongest for the Uist and Barra. Temps of 6C to 16C but it will feel cooler in the wind chill.

Thursday – dry overcast with light winds and feeling cooler for this time of year

Friday. – rain heavy at times. Overcast with brisk winds.

Saturday – Sunshine and showers. Temperatures recovering.
