Good evening Western Isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing a largely dry evening. Plenty of cloud and mainly light winds. Some light rain and rain is starting to slowly move into the Uists and Barra.
The rest of this evening will stay mainly dry however rain will push into the Uists and Barra.
Overnight – rain will move across the islands. This rain will be heavy at times. Blustery winds as well for the Uists and Barra. The rain will move across the entire islands by the early hours of Friday morning. Drier to start of the night but mainly overcast with some clear skies. Winds of 0 to 35 mph.
Morning – Further spells of rain which will be heavy at times. The rain eventually clearing away. Plenty of cloud. Some sunny spells the best of these for the Uists and Barra. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Afternoon and evening – A lingering scattered showers however the heaviest of the rain will have cleared away. A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Most places will see a dry end to the day. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Winds will be mainly from the South West but for a time will shift to come in from the South East. Temps of 7C to 15C

Sunday – Sunshine and showers with increasing winds. The showers will be heavy at times.
Monday – A largely dry day with sunshine but a brisk Northerly wind will keep things cooler again.
