Monday’s forecast – Drier and brighter with scattered showers.

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few sharp showers around. For most winds are mainly light but some gustier winds across the Uists and Barra.

Overnight – We are going to see further gusty winds reaching 30 to 40 mph. Showers again and these will be heavy at times but they will become more scattered as the night goes on. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Some early morning sunny spells. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers around which at times will be heavy but for most, it will stay fine and dry. We should see plenty. of sunshine at times. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Showers will increase again with the greatest risk being across the Uist and Barra. Winds of 10 to. 30 mph gusting 40 mph across the Uists and Barra.

Winds will be from the West and North West and temps of 8C to 14C
