Week ahead forecast – more settled for now

Welcome to the week ahead forecast. The full in depth forecast for Monday can be found in the update below this one. Its been an unsettled weekend with low pressure dominating our weather. We are going to see improvements next week. However there is quite some uncertainty at the moment with the end of the week.

Tuesday – A few overnight showers. These becoming more scattered. Plenty of sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. Breezy and it will still be on the rather cool side. Temps of 8C to 14C and Winds of 0 to 20 mph from the North and West.

Wednesday – Mainly overcast day for many best of the sunshine further South. Winds mainly light under 15 mph. Should be largely dry some light rain cannot be ruled out. Temps of 6C to 15C Winds from the North.

Thursday – A lot of uncertainty as yet. Depends on the exact track of a possible area of low pressure. At the moment a breezy day is expected with some showers at times. Some sunshine in between. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 7C to 14C

Friday – A long way off as yet so plenty will change between now and then but we are expected to see a mixture of sunshine and showers. Winds of 0 to 30 mph. Temps of 8C tp 14C

Long range – Some hints of a possible warmer weekend.
