Wednesday’s forecast – A mainly dry day

Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Winds are mainly light some light rain mainly over Harris which has been stubborn and slow to clear all day,

Overnight – A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Some early morning sunshine. It should be largely dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds of 0 to 10 mph. Overnight lows could get down to 4C in some spots with the greatest risk of the lower temperatures over Lewis.

Morning and afternoon – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Prolonged sunshine at times. The odd scattered shower is possible particularly across Lewis and Harris in the afternoon. For most, it will stay dry. Some stubborn and slow to clear cloud. Winds of 0 to 10 mph.

Evening – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. The best of the sunshine across the Uists and Barra. Should be dry but the odd scattered shower cannot be ruled out. Winds of 0 to 15 mph.

Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 4 to 15C
