Good morning Western Isles this is your morning brief
On this Friday morning, we are seeing an overcast start to the day for most. Some showers around these are heavy in places. Some sunshine but the cloud is mainly dominating. Winds are mainly light under 20 mph.

Pollen forecast for today is low.

Across the highlands and islands on Thursday South Uist had the lowest maximum temperature of 14.4C

Today – A day of sunshine and showers these will be heavy at times. It will be breezy with plenty of cloud. Some sunshine at times and we will see some prolonged spells of sunshine. Winds of 10 to 30 mph and temps of 10C to 16C

Saturday – Sunshine and showers with a brisk wind.

Sunday – Dry start with rain moving in later which will be heavy and winds increasing.

Monday – Further rain but. becoming drier and brighter later staying fairly winds.
