Good morning Western Isles this is your morning brief

Second time lucky with this one. I have already spent 30 mins on the first one of these this morning then my Facebook crashed so here we go again!!!!

On this Saturday morning, we are seeing some showers around these are heavy in places. Plenty of cloud but in between, we are seeing some sunshine. Winds are under 20 mph. Temps between high single figures and low double figures.

Today – We are going to see further showers and these will be heavy at times. Plenty of cloud but in between, we should see some decent and prolonged sunshine. The showers will become more scattered as the day goes on drier and brighter for the afternoon and evening but a few lingering showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 8C to 15C

Sunday – A dry start to the day with some sunshine and light winds. However, we will see rain which will be heavy at times push in during the evening. This will be accompanied by strengthening winds gusting 40 mph.

Monday – A mixture of sunshine and showers these again heavy at times. Some sunny spells. Brisk winds.

Tuesday – Further spells of rain which will merge into some longer heavier spells of rain winds will be lighter.
