Good evening Western isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing rain moving across the islands which is heavy at places. Some drier slots and the cloud is dominating. When this rain clears later into the evening we will see further spells of light rain and drizzle along with mist and fog patches. Winds gusting 40 mph across the Uists.
Overnight – The heaviest of the rain will move away. We are going to see further spells of rain and drizzle which will be heavy at times. It will be an overcast night with occasional clear spells. Some mist and fog patches at times. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Morning and afternoon – further spells of rain which at times will be heavy. A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Evening – Again further spells of rain which at times will be heavy. Plenty of cloud. Some drizzle at times. Any sunny spells at times will be short lived. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
