Good morning Western Isles this is your morning brief
On this Sunday morning, we are seeing an overcast start to the day for most. Some morning sunshine the best of this across Uists and Barra. It is mainly dry but there is some light rain. Winds are under 15 mph.

Pollen forecast for today is low

Today – A largely dry start to the day for many. Some light rain but we are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some decent spells of sunshine before the cloud thickens in this afternoon. Rain will push as the afternoon goes on. Into the Uists and Barra first then across the entire islands as we go into the evening. This rain will be heavy at times but we will see some drier interludes. The cloud will dominate. By late evening lighter rain and drizzle is expected for the Uists and Barra. Winds will also increase today Winds of 10 to 20 mph gusting 40 mph this evening. Temps of 10 to 16C

Monday – Overcast with further outbreaks of rain which will be heavy at times and brisk winds once again.

Tuesday – Another cloud dominated day with further showery rain winds ease.

Wednesday – Breezy day and it will be overcast with further spells of light rain.
