Weather radar are becoming more powerful and even more sensitive than ever before. They are able to pick up more than just rain.

Today the Met Office radar picked up flying ants in the South of England

It’s not just flying ants. Birds get caught up in the middle of hurricanes and can seek refuge in the calm eye
