Week ahead forecast – Largely unsettled.

Welcome to the week ahead forecast. The full in depth forecast for Monday can be found in the update below this one.

Its been a mixed weekend with further spells of rain and cloud largely dominating with some sunshine. An unsettled start to the week but some improvements to end it.

Tuesday – Overcast with some sunshine at times. A few scattered showers winds will be fairly light. Winds of 0 to 20 mph. Temps of 8C to 16C

Wednesday – Some uncertainty as yet as to how much rain and where it will be. At the moment the heaviest of the rain is forecast for the Uists and Barra overnight and into early Wednesday morning. The rest of the day is expected to be fine and dry but overcast. Winds of 10 to 25 mph. Temps of 9C to 16C

Thursday – A mainly fine and dry day with plenty of sunshine a few scattered showers. Winds of 10 to 20 mph. Temps of 9C to 16C

Friday – Another day of sunshine and showers. These will be heavy at times. Some decent spells of sunshine. Winds of 0 to 20 mph and temps of 9C to 16C
Long range – looking ahead to next weekend it looks unsettled with further spells of rain which will be heavy at times.
